Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026
This English version is provided for convenience only. In the event of any discrepancy, the Spanish version shall prevail.
This policy explains what cookies are, which ones are used on the site quintanapaz.es, what they are used for, and how you can accept, reject or delete them, in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 of July 11 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI-CE) and the General Data Protection Regulation. It supplements the privacy policy and the legal notice.
01What cookies are
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in the browser of the person visiting it, to remember certain information from one page to the next or from one visit to the next. This policy also covers other technologies with a similar effect, such as the browser’s local storage. Some cookies are essential for the website to work; others are used, for example, to measure traffic, and those may only be set with the prior consent of the visitor.
02Cookies used on this site
This site aims to use as few cookies as possible. Simply opening its pages sets only the strictly necessary ones.
Technical or necessary cookies. These allow the site to work and do not require consent. Specifically: the cookie that stores the choice you make in the cookie notice (accepting, rejecting or choosing by category), so that you are not asked again on every page; and, only for the person who manages the site, the content management system’s login cookies. The contact form does not set any cookies.
Analytics cookies, only with your consent. If you accept them in the cookie notice, [analytics tool, if used] is used to find out, in aggregate form, how many people visit the site, which pages are read most and where the traffic comes from. If you do not accept them, they are not set.
Third-party cookies in media players. The audio and video page offers recordings hosted on external platforms: YouTube (Google), Facebook (Meta), iVoox, Spotify, Mixcloud, SoundCloud, Libsyn, esRadio (Libertad Digital) and Canal UNED. Their players are not loaded when the page opens, but only when you click “Watch” or “Listen,” and YouTube players run in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). From that moment on, the platform in question may set its own cookies, for which it is responsible under its own policy, available on its website.
03Legal basis
Technical cookies are used because they are necessary to provide the service you request by visiting the site, and they are exempt from consent under Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE. Analytics cookies are set only with your express consent (Article 6.1.a of the GDPR). Third-party cookies in media players are set only when you decide to activate one of them.
04How to accept, reject or change your mind
The first time you visit the site, a notice lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies just as easily, or choose by category. You can change your decision at any time from that same notice, which you can reopen from any page. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn.
05How to delete them in your browser
In addition, every browser lets you view, block and delete cookies in its privacy settings: in Chrome, Edge and Firefox, under the privacy and security section of the settings; in Safari, under the privacy tab of its settings. If you block all cookies, some features of the site, such as remembering your choice in the cookie notice, may stop working.
06International transfers
Some of the platforms mentioned, such as Google or Meta, are based outside the European Economic Area. These transfers are explained in the privacy policy.
07Updates
This policy may be amended when the cookies used by the site or the applicable regulations change. The version in force is, in any event, the one published on this page, with the date shown at the top.
